THE LAUNCH OF OUR EC STORE MMW 🎉

Today on February 4th, we are pleased to announce the launch of our new service🥂
We have worked diligently to prepare for this, ensuring that we can provide you with the most valuable vintage Chanel items possible.

In this article, I would like to share with you how we came to launch this service, our thoughts on MMW, and I would be happy if you could join us to know more about MMW :)

As the pandemic peaked, I found myself cooped up and stressed out, then I decided to shop online for a bag I'd been eyeing, browsing high-end brand EC sites for the first time.
With my previous experience working for a company that sells preowned high-end products worldwide, I was able to determine that many of the products did not meet quality standards and were flooded with products that could be counterfeit.
These were being sold and priced like legitimate products, and what's worse, I often found them to be out of stock..!

If you are looking to buy vintage or preowned products, from a practical standpoint, it must be advantageous to consider buying from companies rather than from individuals. I completely understand your concern about people unknowingly buying counterfeit products so I wondered if I could create an EC site that people would trust at ease.

In order to establish credibility, we have taken the first step in obtaining third-party certification for our items, both internally and externally.
Although every EC site states that the product has been authenticated by an in-house appraiser one by one, we understand that it can be difficult for consumers to determine which EC sites are truly offering secure products, despite claims of in-house authentication.
To address this issue, we offer that a third-party conduct an external audit, similar to how companies undergo an audit, to ensure authenticity results as well. It is important to note that all bags undergo at least five appraisals by both in-house and external appraisers. Additionally, ENTRUPY carefully evaluates the bags to ensure their authenticity from multiple perspectives. 
We understand the significance of authenticity and aim to provide the most accurate and thorough appraisals possible.

Furthermore, we pride ourselves on our unique service of offering items that focus exclusively on Chanel, as they hold their value as an investment over the time. Haute couture and ready-to-wear collections have always been my favorite, but as you may know, the market value of a design does not always reflect its uniqueness or specificity. 
I am passionate about bringing you the best as a Chanel geek, so we offer you items that are of special value or are available at an affordable price compared to the current market price🤓💫

本日、2024年2月4日にようやくサービスローンチです✨

みなさまにより良い商品をお届けできるよう試行錯誤を重ねて、準備に時間を掛けてまいりました。

今日はこのサービスがローンチすることになったきっかけや、MMWに込めた想いもお伝えできればと思っておりますので、こちらをきっかけに私たちのことを少しでも知っていただけたら嬉しく思います。

コロナが世界中で猛威を振るっていた頃、ハイブランドのアイテムは新品もヴィンテージも店舗で買うものだと考えていた私ですが、外出できずに部屋に閉じこもってストレスが溜まりにたまり、初めてハイブランドを取り扱うECサイトを覗いて見たのです👀

以前、リユースハイブランドアイテムを越境で販売する会社で働いていた私の目からみると、写真で基準外商品（模倣品の疑い）が正規品とほぼ同じ値段で売られていて、しかもそれがSOLDOUTになっている商品がたくさんありました。

なかには格安とまではいかなくとも、他の店舗よりも少し値段を安く設定しお得感を装っているサイトも散見されたのです。

リユース商品は個人ではなく、法人から購入することをオススメすることは大前提なのですが、スーパーコピー品が多く出回っている昨今では、100%信用するのは要注意。こういった商品を正規品と信じて購入している方がいると考えると、居た堪れない気持ちになっていました。

世の中にECサイトが溢れているなかで、どうすれば信用に繋がるか考えた結果、買い付け元の真贋チェックや社内鑑定士チェックだけではなく第三者機関での鑑定および鑑定書の発行でした。

どのECサイトにも社内鑑定士による鑑定済みと記載されていますが、消費者からすると、しっかりと真贋できるところと出来ないところの差がわかりにくい。

通常、会社では監査や外部チェックがあるように、この真贋結果についても第三者が介入するべきではないかと考えました。
全てのバッグは社内および社外での鑑定士が4回以上鑑定、その上でさらにENTRUPYで鑑定をし、様々な観点からアイテムの真贋チェックを実施しています。

さらにもう一つ、MMWにしかないサービスとしてはシャネルアイテムに絞ってご紹介をしていること。
それは、時代を超えても愛されるシャネル商品のみを取り扱い、資産の観点でみても末永く価値を維持できるメゾンであるためです。
あとはシンプルですが私がシャネルオタクであることです。笑

昔からオートクチュールやプレタポルテのコレクションが大大大好きな私ですが、悲しいことに市場価値はデザインの特異性とイコールではないことも多々ありますよね。

担当の方と仲良くなるとお店に行くのが楽しみの一つにもなりますよね。

店舗名MMWは、made my weekend,の頭文字。
英語でmade my day!と多用されるのですが、これは何か(ものや人や何でも)が自分の1日を最高にしてくれた！みたいな、とても素敵な表現なのです。
この表現って日本語に同じニュアンスで当てはまるような文言は思い当たらないのですが、Thank youと感謝を伝えるよりも相手に寄り添った優しい言葉でもあり、自分を鼓舞する言葉でもありとにかく前向きなこの言葉に私は心地よく感じます。

頑張った自分へのご褒美に、MMWを通じて、週末がmade my weekendになれたら嬉しいなという想いを込めて。
最後のカンマはその素敵な週末が続きますように、という意味も含めています。

街には多くのvintageショップがあり値付けも様々ですが
